Are the champion hats given to the Denver Nuggets misspelled?

DENVER (KDVR) — For the first time ever, the Denver Nuggets are NBA champions. As the team raised the Larry O'Brien trophy a mile high, they were also awarded new hats. But those hats make them look more like "champians" than "champions."Multiple retailers across the state opened their doors early to fans looking to grab some merch to show off their Nuggets pride. One coveted item is the champions hat that the team wore right after they won. 11 people shot downtown after Denver Nuggets win NBA Finals However, there seems to be a difference between the one worn by the team and the one being sold on the NBA's website. Some fans have noticed that the hats given to the team don't do a very good job of differentiating the "o" and the "a," with the cursive font making it look like the team was crowned "champians."Denver Nuggets owner Josh Kroenke, center right, hugs head coach Michael Malone after the team won the NBA Championship with a victory over the Miami Heat in Game 5 of basketba...

MIAMI (AP) — There will be a new banner over Miami’s home floor next season. It’ll have a Heat logo and will be added to the rafters quietly, without any ceremony or sounds of fans cheering.Eastern Conference champion banners don’t merit a Heat party.Only NBA championship banners get the blowout celebrations, and the Heat will have to wait at least one more year to get another of those. It was a surprising run — from nearly getting bounced in the play-in tournament to making the NBA Finals — but it ended with Miami falling in the title series for the third time in its last three appearances.Denver topped Miami 4-1 in the finals, giving the Nuggets their first title and making the Heat wait yet again for their fourth.“We didn’t get the final win, but sometimes that’s true in sport and also in life — that you don’t always get what you want,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “But there’s no regret from our side. Everybody, staff, players alike in the locker room put themselves out there...

Google will have to postpone starting its artificial intelligence chatbot Bard in the European Union after its main data regulator in the bloc raised privacy concerns. The Irish Data Protection Commission said Tuesday that the tech giant had so far provided insufficient information about how its generative AI tool protects Europeans’ privacy to justify an EU launch. The Dublin-based authority is Google’s main European data supervisor under the bloc’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).“Google recently informed the Data Protection Commission of its intention to launch Bard in the EU this week,” said Deputy Commissioner Graham Doyle. The watchdog “had not had any detailed briefing nor sight of a data protection impact assessment or any supporting documentation at this point.”The Irish regulator said it asked and is waiting for the company to provide a detailed assessment and answer additional questions about how Bard complies with EU&#...
